These elements of a common pool of IT resources can be deployed rapidly for use by the community with a minimal amount of management effort or interaction by the provider of the cloud service. Cloud computing is becoming an important transition, and a paradigm shift in the delivery of IT services - one that promises large gains in efficiency and flexibility at a time when demands on data centers are growing exponentially.
