The green data center is a hot-button subject for both end-users and vendors. Users are deeply concerned over energy costs and space constraints in the data center, and rightfully so: data centers are changing rapidly in response to unconstrained corporate data growth and skyrocketing power, cooling, and space requirements.

Given increasingly high energy costs and finite energy resources in some areas, today's data centers will neither have the power nor cooling capacity necessary for 5-year growth models.
