One of the most common misconceptions is this notion that the buyer’s journey is segmented by content type. It is still common to see customer buying journeys segmented where the “awareness” stage is populated by blogs and videos, and the “consideration” stage is all about webinars and white papers, the “purchase stage” is all about ROI Calculators, and the “loyalty” stage is all about the customer community.
