Over the past decade, value-added resellers (VARs) transformed their businesses by adding remotely delivered services to their portfolios and adopting a recurring revenue model that provides consistent and predictable revenue and profits. Managed services aren't a staple of the channel business model; they, and the associated recurring revenue model, are the drivers of channel partner growth and profitability.
