At its simplest, “culture” is a shared and implicit understanding among a group of people. It is the way knowledge, processes, and habits are passed from person to person. And outside of Darwinian evolution, culture is the other important means by which humans evolve.

Culture is equally powerful in the realm of business. It can define business, and often directly influences that business’s ability to succeed. As evidenced by this report, many C-suite executives not only recognise this, but struggle to improve or even change at least some aspects of their corporate cultures.
