End users have a clear choice: they can either demand a contract with clear and agreed exit clauses, or they can put their trust in the continued cooperation of the cloud services provider (CSP) in the event of contract termination. If you ask to negotiate the rules of engagement for exiting the contract, it’s unlikely to be an indication that you’re about to sign on for another five years.
